Reeder Flying Service, Inc. is seeking a qualified and professional helicopter pilot for the 2026 fire season. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience as a fire and utility pilot, with proficiency in vertical reference longline operations.

Reeder operates AS350B3/B3e helicopters on Exclusive Use and CWN/On-Call Federal and State contracts, as well as other commercial operations for utilities and corporations.

Key attributes of a well-qualified candidate include:

• Experience in mountainous high-density-altitude operations
• AS350 experience is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership and follow-through abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Attention to detail and complete task completion

Travel is required.

The position offers a 12/12 or 12/2 schedule.

The position is seasonal, with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must demonstrate the necessary qualifications. Willingness to provide training in long-line operations is available for the right candidate. 

• FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot Certificate
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum 1500 hours PIC Helicopter Experience
• Airbus AS350 Experience Preferred
• USFS/OAS Carded or Cardable
• Previous Wildland Fire Experience
• Previous Vertical Reference Experience
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Travel is Required
• 12/12 or 12/2 Schedule
• Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screening and Background Check
• Professional References Required
