Position Summary

Designing the electrical and control parts of products, developing or localizing compressed air purification and filtration products, as well as optimizing product electrical components and PLC programs. Design of products of varying scope and complexity for assigned projects. And provide electrical technical support to other departments.

Responsibilities

• Product electrical and control development following up project management process from concept to production and make it successful including time plan, budget, cost and technical specification. 
• Prepares product electrical drawings, electrical parts list. 
• Supports workshop, service, sales, QA/QC and purchasing team on technical issues.
• Communicates with customers to identify new business opportunities, present Parker product capabilities, and clarify customer’s technical requirements.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge and consistently applies established engineering practices, standards and documentation methods.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).
• Make decision pertaining to product’s electrical system & control
• Design products electrical control system and controller programming to enable its operationality 
• Interact with AE, Sales for preparation of technical documents for tender purpose
• Product audit at final stage before ship-out to ensure its functionality and quality are met
• Support Sales & Marketing to meet business goals, including cost reduction goals
• Able to work independently and decide next course of actions to ensure minimum downtime of products.
• Assist supply chain with supplier development.
• Other duties as assigned by the leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Related experience in pneumatic, compressed air & filtration technologies is a plus
• Strong computer skills required to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and INVENTOR
• Strong programming skill in all types of PLC and IIoT
• Good command of English understanding both in writing and speaking
• Good self-management, team spirit and communication 
• Strong knowledge on China and international Electrical Regulatory Requirements and Standards
• Strong analytical skill
